How long does it usually take to lose weight on Topamax?

My doctor prescribed Topamax for migraines and to hopefully help me lose some weight. I just increased to 100 mg from 50 mg last night. Does anyone remember how long it took them before they noticed weight loss? I haven't noticed a change in my appetite other than diet soda now tastes disgusting. Do people lose weight on 100 mg? Some people do not experience any noticable appetite suppression as a side effect of Topamax. Hopefully, though, you'll notice an effect soon if it's going to happen. I'd give it 3 weeks or so.

I personally started noticing a difference within a week or two. I had gained a lot due to a different med though so it could have been that.
