How much does a lip piercing on the side hurt??

on a scale from 1 to 10.
1 being a splinter...10 being death.
im getting my lip pierced with my friend next friday, so i want some answers.
im starting to get nervous.How much does a lip piercing on the side hurt??
probably about a 3, piercings arent bad at all, their very fast and done before you know it. its just the afterwards, healing process thats a little more aggravating

i had snakebites
about a 5 for me. it hurt so much for the first day, but then the pain just fades.

it hurts quite a bit... but not too much if you just meditate away the pain
I think lip piercing is the most discusting piercing there is.
The pain is 10 and it gets worst when you can't keep a job with your piercing -- no food, no rent -- very painful.
piercings can be different for each individual person. there are lots of factors. ive had my nipples pierced and it was nothing, other guys i know say it was one of the most painful things they have ever had happen. ive had my nostrils pierced 4 times, and only the bottom two hurt a lot.
i have around 20 piercings in total
a professional piercing should be sprayed first with an anesthetic spray which helps to numb the pain.
it feels similar to getting a vaccination however there will be tenderness and swelling for up to 6 weeks.
different areas of the body will determine the pain level for instance
nose, ears, lip,eyebrows, belly button (not very sore and not much swelling for me)
nipples, tongue, lip (moderately painful and and a fair amount of swelling and discomfort)
clitoris, and other problematic areas(bloody painful, a lot of swelling and masses of discomfort)
