How much $ does it usually coast to check for stomach acid damage done to the vocal cords?

I could be over reacting to some personal impressions I have about my own voice but some rough figures would be nice to know just in case I do wanna see someone.How much $ does it usually coast to check for stomach acid damage done to the vocal cords?
There are 2 parts of the question. First you have to go to a ear, nose and throat specialist . They will spray some anaesthetic through your nose then put a scope (Tube) through your nose leading to the vocal chord. I do not know what the charges are overseas. I had it done in a private hospital and it is S$80 for specialist charge and S$80 for the scope. Takes about half an hour. Now, 2nd part of the question. If you want to check for stomach acid, you have to have an endoscopy which is inserted through the mouth leading to the stomach. This will cost more as it is done in the theatre. You will have to be sedated. I paid for about S$2,000 in a private hospital. This included day surgery ward charges, theatre charges, doctors fee, anaesthetic and scope and equipment charges. Equipment charges because they will take alot of pictures (pictures, not xray) leading from the throat to the stomach. Very thorough scanning. If you can afford it, do it because it will put your mind at ease.
