How to prevent getting a nose bleed when the weather is dry?

It was really hot last night and I woke up getting a bloody nose. I'm going to Arizona soon where the weather is also hot and dry; I usually get a few nose bleeds while I'm there. How can I prevent them this time? ?How to prevent getting a nose bleed when the weather is dry?
Humidity is the most important part.
Bedside humidifier, 'saline nasal spray' in your nose as often as needed. Steamy showers too are good.
There are some 'creame' sold in pharmacy to apply to your inside nose, make sure they are water soluble before app ling them. Petroleum based creame/antibiotic ointment can actually dry and damage your nose.
Stop taking aspirin, it increases bleeding.
The best thing to do is, seriously, stop wiping or picking your nose. The nasal passage needs to accumulate a layer of mucous 'booger' to protect the lining.
Don't take over the counter sinus or cold pills they have pseudophed in them, this is a drying agent.
You also may need to see a doctor to check your bleeding profile and blood pressure.
You don't want t get a serious nosebleed, if you do bleed more than half an hour go to your dr or er.
Nosebleed care: squeeze the nose tip with your head back, after blowing the blood out, for 15 minutes with out checking, do this 2-3 times, if you are still bleeding. See the professionals.
I know, I get nosebleeds every day. People are telling me to use a humidifyer when I go to sleep, but then what to do during the day? Hmm... maybe just keep a humidifyer running all the time in the room you spend most of the day in. Best wishes :)
Use a nasal spray to help moisten the area within your nose. Humidity is heck.....
