How to get taller ?

Does sleep actually make you get taller?How to get taller ?
No it doesn't.
Height is genetic. Take your vitamins and eat your veggies and you will grow to your full potential.
I don't think so. You get fatter if anything!!
I don't think so. I sleep ALL the time and I'm only 5'
Although your genes already predetermine your height, yes, the most growth hormones are secreted when you sleep at night. To maximize your height, be sure to sleep early, and get plenty of Calcium for your bones from sources such as milk, fish, broccoli.
well, it's kinda irrelevenent, but scientificaly, you are taller when you wake up, then when you go to bed, just because you are standing or sitting vericaly and gravity is forced upon you all day. Again, this is scientificaly proven. Also it is irrelevant, because it's almost microscopic, the diference between your height whn you wake up, and go to sleep. The reason you are taller in the morning than when you go to sleep is because gravity = 9.8 m/s^2, (9.8 meters per second squared, or 9.8 meters per second, per second {yes, i meant to write that twice}) and that equal (i forget exactly how much) some amounts in pounds. So say it's like 5 pounds of presure per sq inch. You have 5 pounds pressing down on you all day. Your body will compress a little bit through out the day, and just kinda unsprings while you lay down, at night for 8 hours.
i know, that was a little long winded, and there's definitaly more to it, but that's the short version.
