From what I know that is for an anitidepressant isn't it?? If this urine test is for a job, they cannot discriminate against you for taking it- esp. if it has been perscribed by a doctor. I believe it depends on how long your body has been on it.
The half life of xanax is 6 - 12 hours. That does not mean that it is all gone after 12 hours. It means half of it is gone etc. For it to be undetectable I would hazard a guess at 5 - 7 days. If you are addicted to xanax you can't just stop it abruptly as it is a benzodiazepine. Benzodiazepine withdrawal if abrupt can cause psychosis and seizures. I don't know if you are a high dose user and or abuser and addicted to the drug or just taking it for recreational occasional use etc. If addicted you need to gradually wean yourself off of the stuff over a period of months.
