How long does the brusing last after a nose job?
I had one tuesday afternoon - most of it under the eyes in the yellow phase of bruising. My eyelids look like I'm wearing red eyeliner, and my nose has a slight green cast under the yellow-ishness.
I went out for the first time today - only the pharmacist said anything about it, and no one gave me any weird looks.
I'll tell ya what though - they really misrepresented how wiped out feeling I was. I think I slept for like 4 days straight. And keep really tasty easy to eat/digest food on hand, because the anesthesia does weird stuff to your appetite - and you have to eat in order to feel better.
P.S. Oh yeah, bendy straws will be your best freinds. Trust me, when you have straws IN your nose, the only way you can possibly drink is with a bendy straw - make sure you get your hands on those before you have anything done.
It can last up to 3 weeks
